Why You Should Hire A Professional Maine DJ
The DJ industry is unregulated. So, anyone with a pair of speakers and a microphone can say they are a “professional.” But, what does that actually mean? To me, a professional is someone who does this full time, uses professional grade equipment, is fully insured and offers amazing customer services and phenomenal day of services.
I hope after we have an opportunity to chat you realize my passion is providing you with the absolute best. It starts with the initial email correspondence and doesn’t end until the last song ends. I love the events industry, I love being a DJ and I’ve built a career around the passion I bring to the events I’m involved with. Thank you for considering my services and I hope we have the opportunity to work together!
Frequently Asked Questions
Can we request specific music?
Of course! One of my main objectives is to understand the atmosphere you’re looking to create. As DJs, I believe it’s essential that the clients personality and vision is infused into the soundtrack of the event.
How long have you been a DJ?
I started as DJ at the age of 14. I’m currently (a young) 36, so I’ve been at this for 22 years. I’m fortunate to say this has been my full-time career for the past 10 years. I’ve provided DJ services at thousands of events and have a lot of experience to draw on as we plan your special event.
Do you have insurance?
Absolutely. I know a lot of DJs simply do this as a hobby or a “side-hustle.” That’s not me. This is my full-time career, my passion and how I make a living. Even though I love being an event DJ, it is a business and I am fully insured to operate my business. This protects me but also protects you and your guests.
Can we meet you before making a decision?
Of course! Choosing the right DJ is a critical part to the success of your event. I’m available to meet in person (or virtually) and I’m also available by phone. I hold regular office hours but I also extend those hours into the evenings and weekends to try and accommodate all of your planning needs.
What form of payments do you accept?
Booking services is quick and easy. Everything is done through an online portal where you can make your event payments by debit or credit cards. If you prefer to mail a check or pay in cash you certainly can do that too.

Versed in multiple entertainment mediums and armed with 20+ years of experience, you can trust that I have the ability to turn your vision into reality
“Simply put, Greg is the only DJ you need to consider. My fiancé (now wife) and I had to unexpectedly bump up our wedding date and knew the truncated time table would be a challenge for anyone…or so we thought. Greg was on it! He traveled to meet us and took his time to listen and understand not only the type of music that we liked, but also what type of experience we wanted to have. Greg’s professionalism, experience, friendliness and energy made us feel comfortable making the choice, and he did not disappoint. He followed up with us several times, kept us on track and even spoke with the venue and other venders to coordinate the timing and details. He made sure to play the specific songs we wanted to hear but also had tons of hits ready to go. Something we really appreciated was that he modified the play list depending on the age of the crowd. As the night progressed and our older family members began to leave, the music began to get “younger” as well. The crowd had a great time and there wasn’t a single occupied seat. You will not regret hiring Greg.”
